Power BI and Fabric training for your team

We deliver practical, instructor-led programmes on Power BI and Fabric, so your people own analytics day to day instead of depending on external reports forever.

See who it helps

Build Microsoft analytics skills through practical training

Training is tailored to your data, your reports and your roles: from executives who need fluency in metrics to analysts who need depth in DAX and Fabric. Small groups keep it hands-on.

Training for the roles that use your data

A good training plan gives each group the right depth: enough context to use analytics well, enough practice to make the learning stick.

Executives and managers

Build fluency in KPIs, report interpretation and the questions to ask when a dashboard shapes a decision.

Report consumers

Help business users navigate workspaces, filters, subscriptions and trusted datasets with confidence.

Report authors

Give analysts practical depth in Power Query, DAX, modelling, report design and publishing standards.

Data teams and engineers

Align engineering and BI teams on Fabric workloads, semantic models, pipelines and governance patterns.

Training programmes we deliver

Start with a structured Power BI or Fabric programme, then adapt the depth, examples and pace to your team.

A predefined programme that takes users from data preparation to interactive reporting. The four modules build a complete path through Power BI, with examples and emphasis adjusted to your team.

Programme modules

  • Power Query

Clean, shape and prepare data from multiple sources using the transformation engine behind Excel and Power BI.

  • DAX fundamentals and advanced DAX

Learn the language behind Power BI measures, calculated logic and reusable business metrics.

  • Data modelling

Structure tables, relationships and measures so reports stay reliable as analytical needs grow.

  • Data visualisation and storytelling

Design clear report pages, choose the right visuals and explain insights in a way that supports decisions.

When training needs another format

Some teams need a tailored path rather than a standard group programme. We adapt the format when the goal is adoption, specialist depth or coaching around real work.

Training on solutions we built

Help users adopt the reports, model logic, workflows and governance behind a BI solution delivered by booldata.

Individual or small-group coaching

Focused support for one or two team members who need hands-on help with Power BI, Fabric, modelling, DAX or delivery standards.

Common questions about training

What learning and development leads ask before booking a Power BI or Fabric programme.

How many people should attend?

Maximum 8 participants, recommended 5. Smaller groups keep sessions practical and hands-on so everyone gets time with exercises and coaching.

Can training be tailored to our industry or roles?

Yes. We adapt examples, exercises and depth to your sector, roles and existing analytics setup. The needs analysis defines what should be generic Microsoft practice and what should use your business context.

Can training use our own data?

Yes, where access and preparation allow. Using your reports and scenarios helps skills transfer into daily work instead of staying confined to generic sample databases.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking at least 4 weeks ahead so we can tailor materials to your data, roles and delivery calendar. Shorter lead times may be possible for coaching or smaller workshops.

Can sessions be remote or on-site?

Both. Most programmes run well remotely with hands-on labs; on-site sessions suit go-lives, executive briefings or teams that prefer in-room coaching. We agree format during the needs analysis.

What support is included after training?

We agree post-training support during the needs analysis. Depending on the programme, this may include follow-up sessions or email assistance for questions that arise during real-world application.

Can you train on our existing BI solution?

Yes. We provide specialised training for any solutions we have developed for you, ensuring your team can fully use your BI investments.
